The Gold Country Email List has been established as a privilege for communicating official Scouting business. It are not to be used to spread chain mail, however well intentioned.
Use of this list is a privilege and will be revoked if the purpose of the list is repeatedly violated.

Subscribing to Goldcountrylist
Subscribe to Goldcountrylist by filling out the following
form.
You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to
prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the
list of members is available only to the list administrator.

Please use the following example for your name: [Type][Unit #]-[Position]-[Your Name]. for [Type], use P for Pack, T for Troop, TM for Team, V for Venture Crew. For [Position], use the 2 digit position code from your Adult Application. So, if I were the Scoutmaster for Troop 1 and my name was John Smith, I would type the following: T1-SM-John Smith.
Password
You may enter a
privacy password below. This provides only mild security,
but should prevent others from messing with your
subscription. Do not use a valuable password as
it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext.
If you choose not to enter a password, one will be
automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to
you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can
always request a mail-back of your password when you edit
your personal options.
